"Skiffs to Spirits"
Wednesday Tour | 5:30pm - 7:00pm
The tour starts at the entrance to the Harbor History Museum, ends at Heritage Distilling Co., and is led by local tour guide expert Kurt Grimmer and his team of volunteers.
Enjoy a guided evening tour and hear stories from Gig Harbor's past - from net sheds to the historic fishing fleet and the impacts of prohibition on this small fishing town. The tour is geared more towards adults; however families are welcome. The tour lasts approximately 1.5 hours and ends at Heritage Distilling Co. in Gig Harbor.
Things you should know before you go:
1. Each tour is approximately 1.5 miles long; there is no transportation provided at the end of the tour so keep in mind you'll need to walk back and get your vehicle or make alternative arrangements. We always suggest grabbing lunch or dinner at one of the many restaurants in our downtown district!
2. The tours are completely FREE and our guides are volunteers; should you feel so inclined to make a donation to one of the non-profit organizations running the tour you are welcome to.
3. Tours run rain or shine. In case of inclement weather, we suggest bringing umbrellas, rain gear, hats, sunscreen, water bottles etc.
