Waterfront Walking Tours are back for the 2025 season!
The Gig Harbor Waterfront Alliance, in partnership with Harbor WildWatch and the Harbor History Museum are proud to offer THREE unique walking tours to residents and visitors once again.
Pints, Myths, and Maritime Spirits
Year-round, next tour scheduled for May 2025
Monthly on the second Thursday @ 5:30pm
Ticketed Event: $30 per person ($10 for children under 12 years)
Pints, Myths & Maritime Spirits is an interactive and engaging tour that takes attendees on a journey through Gig Harbor's maritime history and lore, starting and ending with local craft beverages (included with walking tour ticket), all while walking just 0.5 mile! Check-in as early as 5pm to enjoy a beverage at our starting location. The route includes historic sites like Skansie Netshed and provides opportunities to see our working waterfront in action at Harbor WildWatch, Gig Harbor Marina and Boatyard, and the Maritime Pier. Fit for all ages.
Wonders of the Waterfront

Wonders of the Waterfront is a weekly Saturday morning tour that explores the natural wonders of the waterfront. Lead by Harbor WildWatch guides, the 1.5 mile walk begins at Donkey Creek Park and journeys to the Maritime Pier. This tour is uniquely focused on the incredible diversity of life and natural history of the Gig Harbor waterfront.

Skiffs to Spirits Experience a unique guided walking tour that combines the rich history of Gig Harbor with the vibrant culture of its present. You’ll learn about the area’s past industries, colorful stories, and social life before and after prohibition. Join us to get an insider’s view of Gig Harbor's past and present. Please note the context of this tour is geared towards adults but families are welcome to attend.
Fine Print: Walking Tour Waiver must be completed for each tour attendee. Tours are led by devoted guides; donations to any participating non-profits (Harbor WildWatch, Harbor History Museum, and the Waterfront Alliance) are graciously accepted. Tours run rain or shine. Attendees are responsible for return travel. In case of inclement weather, we suggest bringing umbrellas, rain gear, hats, sunscreen, water bottles etc.
