Splash Pad now open!

Come out and beat the heat at the Splash Pad at Skansie Brothers Park. The water feature will be on throughout the summer months from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Live Music at the Gig Harbor BoatShop

Andy Mirkovich - Accordion Maestro, May 19th @ 2:00 - 3:30pm

With deep Gig Harbor roots, Andy went on to perform with and for icons of the entertainment industry including Lawrence Welk, Liberace, Burl Ives, Danny Kaye and the Vienna Boys Choir. He was a featured performer at the Space Needle for over a decade and today is a renowned and true accordion maestro.

Paddlecraft Rentals

Its time to get on the water! Check out rental options at Gig Harbor Fly Shop and Lee SUP and take yourself on a human-powered tour of the Harbor.


Classic Boat Show at the Tides

The annual Classic Boat Show takes place Saturday and Sunday at the Tides Tavern dock. Dozens of boats will be on display including The Porpoise, a replica of the Wilkes Expedition survey gig that gave Gig Harbor its name. Vintage Chris Craft and other classic boats will also tie up at the dock for the show. The show runs from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday, May 18, and 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday, May 19.

Count Down to Waterfront Farmers Market!


Welcome the Gig Harbor Waterfront Farmers Market back to Skansie Brothers Park on Thursday, June 6th to kick of the 2024 summer season. As a Main Street organization, we celebrate market vendors with active ties to the Gig Harbor Waterfront - you'll find Fox Island Trading Co, Millville Pizza and more hyper-local options sprinkled throughout the market.

In three short weeks you will find:

  • The freshest local produce, seafood, eggs, flowers, honey and more!

  • Lively music and entertainment each week

  • Kids Corner full of free activities, games and crafts with a focus on personal wellness, the environment and of course - farm fresh food!
