It’s Almost Time!
By now you have pre-purchased your Girls Night Out goodie bag and and have your coupon/event guide in hand! If you have not, there are still a few that can be pre-purchased before Girls Night Out happens.
Check out the list of stores (located on the GNO Facebook page) that still have bags/guides available to purchase. There is no guarantee that there will be bags remaining for purchasing the day of Girls Night Out.
The Big Event Is About to Begin!
Can you feel the excitement in the air? GIRLS NIGHT OUT is just around the corner! I am looking forward to seeing everyone out and about enjoying the festive, fun-filled, event that is sure to jump start the holiday season! Even better is the fact that all this festive fun is happening on the Gig Harbor Downtown Waterfront on Thursday, November 10th! The countdown is about to begin!
Are You Ready?
To begin Girls Night Out, you will need your Girls Night Out coupon book/event guide to take back to the store you purchased it from to pick up your fashionable Girls Night Out bag! The day begins at 10:00am (or anytime it works for you!)
Once you have your bag, go ahead and don your beanie and holiday light necklace and begin the fun! The necklaces are going to look great and light up our pathways. By the way, YOU and everyone else will be looking FABULOUS as you visit all the participating stores along the waterfront all day long (until 9:00pm!)
Yes, I did put together my own map and list of stores that I want to visit. I want to make sure that I experience all the Shopping and Dining Fun! (And you can too!) I found all the information I needed to know in the coupon book/event guide. So much fun happens during the day that I wanted to plan ahead and make sure I know what is happening in each store once I get there. So, if you haven’t taken a look at your coupon book/event guide, take a few minutes to do so. You will be glad you did.
Check out the coupons! There are coupons that are good for GNO day only, and then there are coupons to use from November 11th -December 31st. It’s time to make a list (and check it twice!).
While you are visiting each participating store to use your coupons to find those special gifts, you will also find many stores that will have in-store activities as well as drawings for Door Prizes. I have found that bringing my own address labels with my printed information saves me time (and hand cramps! LOL) . It is so easy to peel off my label and stick it on an entry form! This gives me more time to shop and have fun in each store!
How To Get Around Town
Of course we all know what the Pacific Northwest Weather can bring. Walking around town will require comfortable shoes and the layered look. Parking is available at the United Methodist Church located on Pioneer Way. From there you are welcome to ride the Shuttle for free to your next location along the downtown waterfront during GNO from 10:00am-9:30pm.
Also another fun and relaxing way to get from one end of the harbor to the other is to sail on the Riviera Water Taxi that is located at the Maritime Pier to Anthony’s Pier and back operating from 12:00-5pm.
