Special Event at Java & Clay Cafe - Friday, Oct. 18th.


Get your tickets to Java and Clay's Ladies Night Out . You'll get to choose your favorite piece of pottery from hundreds of pieces. All ages welcome. $30 + tax includes a delicious spread of small bites along with a glass of house red or white wine (or a 16 oz. non-alcoholic beverage of your choice.)

CHUSEOK KOREAN FESTIVAL

FREE FAMILY EVENT @ SKANSIE BROTHERS PARK.

SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 21st from 11am - 4pm


ChuSeok means “autumn eve” in Korean, and is the name of the traditional harvest festival celebrated worldwide. APCC’s ChuSeok Korean Festival includes a fun-filled day of Samulnori drum dances, paper lotus flower making, Korean musical instruments, delicious food, and lots of fanfare!

Local Whimsy Turns 1!


While their birthday bash celebration is SOLD OUT you can still stop by to share your congrats and warm wishes for another trip around the sun. With varied workshops and a curated local-artist retail experience, if you don't already know Local Whimsy there are countless reasons to stop in and get acquainted.




 

The Waterfront's own Harbor WildWatch has a full schedule to bring in fall.

  • Visit the Marine Life Center - located in the historic Skansie House - 5 days a week, 11am - 6pm with FREE admission!

  • Pier Into the Night, September 28th, 7pm at Maritime Pier

    Join them for an underwater journey of Gig Harbor Bay without getting wet (or needing special certification) through the Pier Into the Night experience!

  • Cocktails & Fishtales, Sept. 11, 5:30-7pm Ocean5. Pinto Abalone Restoration in the Salish Sea with Emily Loose.

  • Explore the Estuary - monthly workshop & tour at Billy Frank Jr. Nisqually National Wildlife Refuge Sept. 18, 1pm (Monthly schedule: Sept. 18, Oct. 23, Nov. 13, Dec. 11).


 


This year, we're giving one of our most popular events a fresh new look and feel! Introducing Shop Social, a rebranded version of the beloved Girls Night Out. With this exciting update, we’re expanding the event and reducing the ticket price to welcome more people, making it a fantastic experience for everyone. Ladies can still round up their girlfriends for a fabulous night, but now couples, guys, and even kids are invited to join the fun too!

Head to the waterfront for festivities & trick or treating at local businesses and at Skansie Brothers Park. 

Thursday, October 31 from 3pm - 6pm


STREET CLOSURE NOTICE: parts of Harborview will be closed from 2pm - 6pm
