Join us for the second annual Chowderfest on Saturday, March 8th along Gig Harbor's waterfront.
Chowderfest is a one-of-a-kind, all-ages waterfront event celebrating local Gig Harbor restaurants. Explore the waterfront, visiting participating businesses to sample a variety of traditional and unique chowder creations. While you're here, indulge in additional dining specials, enjoy refreshing drinks, special retail offers, or take a moment to relax and appreciate the stunning waterfront views.
It’s more than just a chowder tasting—it’s an experience that celebrates our community and local businesses.
Fit for chowder lovers of all ages, Chowderfest is a celebration of the culinary expertise of our waterfront business district and a great excuse to get out and explore businesses and natural attractions in the historic area. Gig Harbor waterfront restaurants, tasting rooms, wine bars and retail shops will come together for a day full of delicious food, drink and fun!
Collect-as-you-go Trivia Cards! each participating location will hand out one or more unique Trivia Cards. Get all the facts you didn't know you needed to know about Gig Harbor's History, commercial fishing, marine life, local businesses and, of course, some punny clam jokes. Collect them all to complete your commemorative deck!

When and where is it held?

Saturday, March 8th from 11am - 5pm at at participating restaurants and retail locations throughout the waterfront business district (Harborivew Dr, Judson Street, and Pioneer Way).

Early check-in begins at 10am and is open until 3pm at the Gig Harbor Visitor's Center.

Chowderfest is designed to let you explore multiple locations around Gig Harbor’s waterfront, creating a dynamic and fun day with room for your own adventure between stops. There will be plenty of breweries, distilleries and retailers offering special deals throughout the day as well.
Who can attend and how much does a ticket cost?

Chowderfest is open to all ages, making it perfect groups of friends, families, or solo foodies.

Tickets are just $30 per person and includes all your tasting tickets.
Who organizes Chowderfest?
